In a significant political development, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray met with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday, where he made a key request for the re-implementation of the ‘Water for All’ scheme. The scheme, originally introduced by the Shiv Sena-led government, aimed to ensure access to clean drinking water for every household in the state.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Aaditya Thackeray stated, “Today we had a detailed discussion with the Chief Minister and requested him to re-implement the ‘Water for All’ scheme that we had brought. We said earlier also that we will support the ruling party in works done for public interest. It is important to come together for public works.”

Thackeray’s remarks reflect his willingness to collaborate with the current state government for the betterment of the people of Maharashtra, despite being part of the opposition. His call for unity on issues related to public welfare comes as the Shiv Sena (UBT) continues to strengthen its position as a vocal player in Maharashtra’s political landscape.

In addition to the state-level discussions, Aaditya Thackeray also addressed the ongoing political dynamics in Delhi. When asked about the upcoming Delhi assembly elections, he spoke in favor of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, recognizing his contributions to the city.

“No one can deny the work that Arvind Kejriwal has done for Delhi and the change he has brought in Delhi,” Thackeray said, acknowledging Kejriwal’s influence in transforming Delhi’s governance. Thackeray’s statement added to the ongoing discussions around the impact of AAP’s leadership in Delhi and its potential role in the upcoming elections.
