Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav launched a scathing attack on the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh, alleging that ruling party leaders are complicit in rising crimes and land-grab incidents across the state. Speaking at a public gathering in Etawah, Yadav highlighted what he described as alarming governance failures under BJP’s rule.

“Wrong things are happening in Uttar Pradesh. The crimes that are happening in the state—BJP leaders themselves are behind this. Land is being captured, and if you look closely, you will see BJP people behind it,” Yadav said.

The SP chief also pointed to a recent bank heist in Lucknow, where valuables were stolen from a bank locker. “For the first time, such theft has happened from a bank locker in a bank in Lucknow. This shows the deteriorating law and order situation,” he remarked, adding that these incidents expose the state government’s inability to ensure safety and accountability.

Akhilesh Yadav’s remarks come amid increasing political tensions as opposition parties intensify criticism of the BJP government ahead of the upcoming elections. He urged the public to scrutinize the ruling party’s role in such incidents and called for stronger action to curb crime and corruption.
