Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President KT Rama Rao, defending his record amid the Formula-E case investigation, appeared before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Hyderabad on Tuesday. In his statement to the media, the former Minister categorically dismissed the corruption allegations leveled against him, asserting that he had never engaged in any corrupt activities during his tenure in the state cabinet.

Rao firmly stated, “Being a minister in the state cabinet, I did not give contracts to my son’s company. I did not buy expensive cars. I am not the one who got caught trying to poach an MLA. I did not do even half a paisa of corruption, and I never will.” The remarks were made in response to accusations related to the Formula-E case, which is currently under investigation by the ACB.

The BRS leader also criticized Congress leader Revanth Reddy and his colleagues, accusing them of trying to tarnish his reputation through media campaigns. “Revanth Reddy and his ministers have these corrupt ideas, but we are above that. Some Congress people want to do mudslinging to gain political advantage, but the truth will always prevail,” Rao asserted.

Emphasizing his commitment to Telangana’s future, Rao added, “You cannot divert us. We will continue to question your 420 promises. We will not be swayed by the legal cases filed against me. No matter what happens, we will continue to fight for Telangana’s progress.”

Rao also made a personal declaration in the face of political pressure. “As KCR’s son, I will die for Telangana if needed, but I will never bow my head before people like you. We will continue to fight until Telangana wins and is free from Congress’ grip.”
