Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched a scathing attack on the opposition during a public rally in Bihar, accusing them of seeking power not to serve the people but to exploit them. Drawing a sharp contrast between the NDA’s development-oriented governance and what he described as the opposition’s “era of lawlessness,” the Prime Minister urged voters to protect the state from returning to what he called “Jungle Raj.”
Addressing a massive gathering, Modi said, “You can imagine why these Jungle Raj people are so desperate to return to power. They don't want to serve the public. They want to rob the public at gunpoint, rob them... This is their plan... This is the sound of Jungle Raj.”
The Prime Minister alleged that such forces were attempting to create an atmosphere of fear among vulnerable sections of society. “This is an attempt to intimidate sisters and daughters, the poor, Dalits, Mahadalits, and backward and extremely backward communities,” he remarked, warning that the return of such politics would undo years of progress made under the NDA’s rule.
Continuing his attack, Modi said, “People of Jungle Raj can never build anything. They are the epitome of destruction and misery.”
