A fresh political war of words erupted between Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the BJP’s delay in announcing its national president. Taking a swipe at the ruling party, Yadav remarked, "The party that calls itself the world's largest has not yet been able to choose its national president."
In a sharp rebuttal, Amit Shah dismissed the jibe, stating that BJP follows a democratic process, unlike dynastic parties. "All the parties in front of me, their national president will be chosen by only some family members. We have to choose from 12-13 crore members after a process. So it takes time," he countered.
