In a shocking and mysterious turn of events, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Gulfaam Singh Yadav (60) died under suspicious circumstances in Sambhal district, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday. Allegations have surfaced that he was murdered after being injected with poison by unidentified assailants.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident took place around 1 pm when Yadav was sitting on a cot at his residence in Daftara village. Two unidentified men arrived on a motorcycle, approached him, and one of them allegedly injected a poisonous substance into his abdomen before fleeing the scene.

Shocked family members rushed Yadav to a government hospital in Junawai, where doctors referred him to Aligarh for advanced treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries while en route.

Providing details of the incident, Circle Officer (Gunnaur) Deepak Tiwari stated:
“Gulfam Singh Yadav was sitting at his farm in Daftara village under Junawai police station limits when three men arrived on a motorcycle and injected him with a substance before fleeing. He was being taken to Aligarh for treatment but died on the way. So far, no formal complaint has been received from the victim’s family. A police team has been deployed to investigate the case.”
