Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Delhi unit president Virendra Sachdeva on Thursday launched a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), alleging that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Minister Atishi Marlena were engaging in “planned shutdowns” despite being rejected by the public.
“I had mentioned in the morning that Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi Marlena have been rejected by the public, but their tricks and propaganda have not stopped yet. They are intentionally going for planned shutdowns. We have received information that they are trying to create disruptions,” Sachdeva claimed.

His remarks come amid ongoing political tensions between the BJP and AAP, with the latter facing scrutiny over governance and recent administrative decisions in the national capital.
While Sachdeva did not specify the nature of the alleged disruptions, his statement hints at the BJP’s growing criticism of the AAP government’s handling of key civic and governance matters.
AAP has not yet responded to Sachdeva’s allegations, but the remarks are expected to escalate the ongoing political battle between the two parties in Delhi.
