After appearing before the police over his controversial statement on Aurangzeb, Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi lashed out at authorities, claiming he was unfairly targeted despite doing “nothing wrong.”
“There is no need to record a statement, there is no case. Yet an FIR was filed against me. I had to take anticipatory bail. Now, I am required to sign for three days. I have done nothing, yet I am being treated like a criminal. I have even been called a terrorist and was suspended for an entire session,” Azmi said, expressing frustration.
