The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the results of the Class XII board examinations. This year, 88.39% of students have cleared the exams, marking a 0.41% increase in the overall pass percentage compared to last year.
One of the major highlights of the results is the performance of girl students. Girls have outshone boys by 5.94 percentage points, with over 91% of girls passing the exams. The board lauded the efforts of students and teachers alike for maintaining academic excellence.
Over 16.9 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 exams this year, held across the country in February-March 2025. CBSE said that students who were unable to pass in one or two subjects will have an opportunity to appear for compartment exams.

1. Official CBSE Website
- Visit: https://cbseresults.nic.in
- Click on the link that says “Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) Results 2025”
- Enter your Roll Number, School Number, and Admit Card ID
- Click on Submit to view your result
2. DigiLocker
- Visit: https://www.digilocker.gov.in
- Sign in using your mobile number registered with CBSE
- Click on CBSE under Issued Documents
- Download your digital mark sheet and passing certificate
3. UMANG App
- Download and open the UMANG app on your smartphone
- Navigate to CBSE services and select Class 12 Results
- Enter your roll details and get access to your marksheet
4. SMS Service
- Type: CBSE12 <Roll Number> <School Number> <Admit Card ID>
