A team from the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday arrived at the residence of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, following allegations of bribery involving AAP MLAs. The development comes after Delhi Lieutenant Governor’s (LG) principal secretary directed the chief secretary to initiate an ACB inquiry into the claims.

Earlier in the day, Kejriwal accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of attempting to poach AAP MLAs by offering ₹15 crore each to 16 candidates to switch loyalties. “The BJP is trying to buy our leaders, but AAP remains united. The people of Delhi will not tolerate such political corruption,” Kejriwal alleged.

The AAP has strongly condemned the ACB action, calling it politically motivated. “Instead of investigating BJP’s attempts to lure MLAs, the agencies are being used to harass us,” an AAP spokesperson stated.
