Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was admitted to AIIMS, Delhi, on Thursday morning after experiencing severe back pain. The 73-year-old senior BJP leader and India’s Defence Minister is currently in the old private ward of the renowned hospital.
In a statement issued by AIIMS Delhi, it was confirmed that Rajnath Singh’s condition is stable and he is under close observation. “The Honourable Defence Minister is being monitored and receiving the necessary medical care. He is stable and in good spirits,” the statement read.
Rajnath Singh, a key figure in the Indian government, has been an active and influential member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). His role as Defence Minister has been pivotal, overseeing numerous defense initiatives and reforms. Despite his demanding schedule, Singh has maintained a robust work ethic, contributing significantly to India’s defense and security.
