Delhi’s newly sworn-in Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has hit the ground running, promising swift action and rapid implementation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for the national capital. Taking charge with a proactive approach, Gupta announced that her government approved and rolled out the Ayushman Bharat Yojana on the very first day in office.
“We will utilise every single day. The day before yesterday, we took the oath, and then we held our first cabinet meeting. In that very first cabinet meeting, we approved PM Modi’s vision for Delhi—the Ayushman Yojana—and delivered it to the people on the very first day,” Gupta said.
