The counting of votes for the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 began at 8 AM on Saturday, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) taking a commanding lead in 50 seats. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is ahead in 19 seats, while the Congress is struggling with projections of 0-3 seats, according to early trends.
Voting for all 70 Assembly constituencies took place in a single phase on February 5, and the final results are expected to be declared by the evening. Exit polls had earlier predicted a BJP comeback in Delhi after 27 years, with the party comfortably crossing the majority mark of 36 seats.
