Delhi Minister Atishi recently inspected the ‘Kanwar’ camp set up at Kashmere Gate, one of the 185 camps established across the city to accommodate Kanwariyas. These camps are designed to provide comfort and essential services to the thousands of pilgrims passing through the capital.
Atishi highlighted the extensive arrangements made at the camps, emphasizing the government’s commitment to ensuring a smooth and safe pilgrimage for the Kanwariyas. “At a time, 8,000-10,000 Kanwariyas are accommodated at this camp (in Kashmere Gate). There is an arrangement of waterproof tents, bedding, toilets, and a team of doctors at the Kanwar camps,” she stated.

- Sanitation Facilities: Clean and accessible toilets to maintain hygiene standards.
- Medical Assistance: A dedicated team of doctors on-site to provide immediate medical care if needed.
