In a fiery statement on Monday, Union Minister Giriraj Singh accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of promoting a pro-China agenda. Singh’s comments came in response to Gandhi’s recent criticisms of the current administration’s economic policies.

Singh highlighted the significant strides in India’s manufacturing and export sectors, contrasting the current administration’s achievements with those of the previous government. “Rahul Gandhi is branding for China. During your time, there was more import in defense. Now we are exporting; during your time, the export was only Rs 19 lakh crores, and right now, the export has surpassed Rs 75 lakh crores. This shows that manufacturing is increasing in the country,” Singh declared.

The Union Minister’s remarks aimed to defend the government’s economic record, emphasizing the substantial growth in exports and manufacturing under the current administration. Singh expressed strong disapproval of Gandhi’s comments, suggesting that criticizing India’s economic progress and promoting foreign interests aligns with anti-national sentiments.

“Anyone who abuses India abroad, abuses Make in India, and criticizes the growing manufacturing sector will be considered an enemy of the country. Such individuals cannot hold positions of responsibility, like the Leader of Opposition,” Singh asserted.

The controversy surrounding Gandhi’s statements has intensified the political debate over India’s economic policies and its international standing. Singh’s comments underscore the ongoing tensions between the ruling party and the opposition, highlighting the divergent views on India’s economic progress and global image.

As the political discourse continues, both sides remain firmly entrenched in their positions, with the issue of national pride and economic development at the forefront of the debate.
