West Bengal Leader of Opposition and senior BJP MLA Suvendu Adhikari on Friday escalated his attack on the Trinamool Congress government, alleging that unchecked demographic changes were underway in the state. Speaking at a public meeting, Adhikari stressed that correcting the voter list was essential for ensuring fair elections and protecting the state’s cultural identity.
Adhikari declared, “…the way the demographics have changed in Bengal must be stopped. Infiltrators must be removed from the voter list, and action must be taken to include the name of every Hindu refugee in the voter list... When the BJP government comes to power, refugees will stay here, infiltrators will be sent back...”
