Minister Dhananjay Munde, embroiled in controversy over the murder of a sarpanch in Beed, made startling revelations at his party’s ‘Navsankalp Shibir’ in Shirdi on Sunday, as he warned Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar against any future alliance with the BJP.

Munde recounted a significant conversation from the early morning oath-taking ceremony of November 23, 2019, when he cautioned Pawar against aligning with the BJP. He stated that Sunil Tatkare was present during this discussion, which Munde believes marked the beginning of a larger plot to push Ajit Pawar out of the NCP.

Having been a staunch ally of NCP leader Sharad Pawar, Munde emphasized his unwavering support for the party leader, even when others attempted to portray him negatively. Reflecting on the 2019 events, Munde revealed that despite his advice against taking the early morning oath, he was the one who faced the political consequences of that decision.

In light of the ongoing controversy surrounding the Beed sarpanch’s murder, Munde also took the opportunity to address the importance of social harmony in the Marathwada region. He stressed that those responsible for the killing must be severely punished to maintain peace.

In another critical development, Munde discussed his removal from the position of Guardian Minister of Beed. He revealed that he had personally requested both Ajit Pawar and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to allow Ajit Pawar to lead the development efforts in Beed, believing that under Pawar’s leadership, the district would experience substantial growth.
