Gujarat Minister Rushikesh Patel has assured the public of swift rescue efforts and ongoing infrastructure assessments following a recent bridge-related mishap in the state. In a detailed statement, Patel said the government has already begun a full review of bridge safety across Gujarat.

“The rescue operations were very successful with the help of government machinery and the local people. I want to thank the youngsters from nearby areas who immediately sprung into action to help the victims as soon as they received information… All trucks have been pulled out… All necessary steps have been taken… the report will come out in 30 days… Out of the 7,000 bridges in the state, we have identified the unhealthy ones,” Patel said.

The minister praised the prompt action of local youth and credited their immediate response with minimizing the impact of the incident. He confirmed that rescue teams, along with government officials, responded efficiently and successfully concluded the operation.
