In a determined effort to elevate Gujarat’s education system, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited the primary school in Biliamba, a border village in the Dang district, as part of the state-wide school entrance festival on June 21st. The visit, aimed at enhancing educational facilities and involvement in tribal areas, saw the admission of 127 children into Balwatika, Anganwadi, and primary and secondary schools.
Chief Minister Patel actively engaged with the students, checking study books and answering their questions, highlighting the importance of interactive learning. Addressing the villagers, he emphasized that the government’s role extends beyond developing physical infrastructure; it also involves parents, School Management Committees (SMCs), and teachers taking greater responsibility for children’s education.
“The government not only develops physical facilities in schools but also calls upon parents, SMCs, and teachers to pay more attention to children’s education as elders and fulfill their social responsibility,” said CM Patel during his address.
Patel’s visit underscored the state’s commitment to education as a cornerstone of development. He reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of collective effort and development, urging the community to realize the mantra of “everyone’s support, everyone’s development, everyone’s faith, everyone’s efforts.”
“Let’s realize it together and equip the next generation with the richness of education and knowledge to create a developed Gujarat for a developed India,” Patel said, offering motivational guidance to the community.
During his visit, CM Patel conducted a thorough inspection of the school facilities, including classrooms and drip irrigation systems in the school premises. To mark the occasion, he planted a neem tree, symbolizing the importance of environmental protection and sustainable development.
Deputy Chief Constable and MLA of Dang district, Vijaybhai Patel, welcomed the Chief Minister and encouraged villagers to leverage various government schemes for development. Collector Mahesh Patel, in his welcome speech, presented the outline of the program and highlighted the unique cultural heritage of Dang.
This initiative by the Gujarat government reflects a broader commitment to ensuring quality education for all, particularly in underserved tribal areas. As Gujarat leads the way in educational reform, the state’s efforts serve as a model for building a strong foundation for India’s future.
