Hyderabad Police Respond To Bomb Threat At Praja Bhavan

India has faced over 15 bomb threats in May, targeting sensitive locations such as Delhi University, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and major airports. Although most threats have been hoaxes, central agencies are actively investigating to identify the sources behind these threats.

On Tuesday, Hyderabad Police reported receiving a bomb threat targeting Praja Bhavan, formerly known as Pragati Bhavan, in Begumpet, Hyderabad. The area was swiftly cordoned off as police and the bomb disposal squad conducted a thorough investigation.

This bomb threat in Hyderabad comes amid a series of similar threats across the country during the election period. Earlier in the day, a bomb threat was received for IndiGo flight 6E2211 from Delhi to Varanasi at Delhi airport.
