With Holi celebrations set for March 13-14, Indian Railways has introduced special Holi trains on multiple routes to accommodate the heavy passenger demand. These trains will help thousands of travelers reach their hometowns in time for the festival.
The special services include trains from Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi, connecting key destinations such as Banaras and Danapur. Bookings for these trains have already begun.
Key Holi Special Trains:
- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Banaras: Train No. 01013 departs on March 13 at 10:30 PM, with the return train 01014 leaving Banaras on March 15 at 8:00 AM.
- Pune to Danapur: Train No. 01419 departs from Pune on March 11 at 7:55 PM, while Train No. 01420 leaves Danapur on March 13 at 6:30 AM.
- Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Danapur: Train No. 01012 will depart from Danapur on March 11 at 9:30 PM.
With an extended holiday period from March 13-16, travel demand has surged, prompting Indian Railways to ensure smooth connectivity. Passengers are advised to book their tickets soon to secure their journey home for Holi celebrations.
