The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) led by Sharad Pawar has announced its first list of 45 candidates for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections. The list features prominent party members and includes a notable face-off in Baramati, where Yugendra Pawar, nephew of Ajit Pawar and son of Shrinivas Pawar, will contest against his uncle, the current Deputy Chief Minister.
Maharashtra State President of the NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar faction), Jayant Patil, made the announcement today, emphasizing the local demand for candidates. “As per instructions from National President Sharad Pawar, I am announcing the first list of NCP SP,” Patil stated.
