Manmohan Singh Cremated With Full State Honors, PM Modi, President Murmu Attend

The final rites of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh were held on Saturday at Nigambodh Ghat in New Delhi with full state honors. Singh was draped in his signature blue turban as he embarked on his final journey. The ceremony was attended by prominent political leaders and officials, marking the end of an era for a leader who played a pivotal role in shaping India’s economic and political trajectory.

President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar were among those present at the funeral. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also attended to pay their respects. Bhutan’s King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck was also in attendance.
