In a high-profile operation, the Delhi Police Crime Branch and Special Cell carried out extensive raids at nearly a dozen locations across Delhi, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh in an attempt to arrest Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan.
According to India TV sources, Khan’s mobile phone has been switched off, and several AAP leaders are reportedly supporting him amid the police crackdown. Authorities have intensified their search, with multiple raids conducted in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, where Khan is believed to have strong connections.
Delhi Police officials have stated that they are close to arresting Khan and will continue their search relentlessly until he is taken into custody.
