Minister Ashish Sood has strongly criticized the Punjab government and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over what he termed as a deliberate effort to halt Delhi's water supply.
In a statement issued on May 6, Sood accused the Punjab government and Kejriwal of "working to stop the water supply to Delhi" as an act of revenge for the defeat of their party in recent elections. "The Punjab government and Arvind Kejriwal ji, who is in Punjab with that government, are working to stop the water supply to Delhi. They are doing this to take revenge on the people of Delhi because of their defeat," Sood said.
He went on to express his strong condemnation of this move, calling it a politically motivated decision that is harming the residents of Delhi.
This water supply issue has sparked controversy, with political tensions between Delhi and Punjab escalating in recent days. Both governments are facing scrutiny over the alleged disruption of water resources to Delhi, a crucial issue that directly impacts millions of residents.
