She clarified, “I was feeling unwell with a fever since morning and had handed over Rs 1000 to my personal assistant to purchase medicine. The money, including Rs 500 notes, was placed inside a folder which was sent out to my assistant through a peon within the Vidhan Sabha premises.” She emphasized that the entire episode was misconstrued and shared out of context, leading to unwarranted speculation.
