Allegation

The Bhandara Food Grain Scam involves a significant misappropriation of funds, amounting to ₹12.5 crore. The CID investigation revealed that six rice mills in Bhandara district were involved in this scam. Seven individuals, including Vishwanath Karemore, the brother of MLA Raju Karemore, have been arrested. The scam involved falsifying documents to show the purchase of paddy and not returning the rice to the government
