Political Career
Raju Navghare is a prominent member of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). He represents the Basmath constituency in the Hingoli district of Maharashtra. Nawghare won the 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections, securing a significant victory with 75,321 votes, leading by 8,251 votes against his nearest competitor.

In the assembly, concerns were raised about delays in receiving SEBC caste validity certificates and technical issues with the online form submission process. It was requested that the deadline for filling out police recruitment forms be extended to accommodate pending examinees affected by these problems.
Efforts are underway to enhance power management in rural areas by installing Special Design Transformers (SDTs) on a large scale. This initiative aims to ensure a 24-hour power supply for farmers, similar to urban areas.
Concerns have been raised about persistently low soybean prices over the past five years, with a request to increase prices under the Minimum Support Price (MSP) scheme. Farmers in Hingoli district who constructed wells under the state government’s ‘Magel Ayah Gotha’ and ‘Magel Ayah Well’ schemes are still awaiting their government subsidies. Despite ongoing follow-ups since last year, the financial assistance has not been provided. There is now a demand for the immediate disbursement of these funds to support the farmers.
Completed works valued at ₹84 lakhs were reviewed, and approved and ongoing development projects totaling ₹1.13 crore were inspected. Additionally, the foundation stone for Pandan road works was laid, marking the start of this new project.
