Work
During the survey, the three villages were categorized into red zone and blue zone. In the red zone, any construction requires the foundation to be raised by 10 feet. Conversely, construction activities were entirely banned in the blue zone. However, during the survey’s finalization, the irrigation department failed to consult with local administration and public representatives, leading to potential concerns and a lack of consensus.
Upon discovering the erroneous survey conducted by the irrigation department, the MLA promptly met with the collector. He pointed out the mistake and took proactive steps. The MLA held multiple meetings with the authorities to ensure the safe evacuation of citizens from the submerged areas. (Saamtv)
