Sanjivreddy Bapurao Bodkurwar was born on September 25, 1964, in Wani, Yavatmal District, Maharashtra. He completed his Bachelor of Arts from Amravati University in 1988. Prior to his political career, Bodkurwar was involved in farming and social work.

Sanjivreddy Bapurao Bodkurwar is a prominent member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He represents the Wani Assembly Constituency in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He first assumed office in 2014 and was re-elected in 2019.
