Seema Mahesh Hiray, often known as Seematai, hails from Nashik, Maharashtra. She was born on 30 June 1970. She pursued her education in Nashik, where she completed her graduation. Political Career

Seema Hiray is a prominent leader in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and currently represents the Nashik West constituency in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. She has been in office since November 28, 2019. Seematai has been actively involved in politics for several years, following in the footsteps of her late father, Mahesh Hiray, a respected political figure in the region. Promises and Future Commitments

Residents of New Nashik and Satpur in the Nashik West Assembly Constituency are struggling with low water pressure and muddy water supply. These issues have caused significant inconvenience, particularly for women, with some areas experiencing complete water cutoffs and others receiving only muddy water.

Funds from MLA allocation have been secured for concreting the roads in Mahadev Wadi, Ward No. 11. The project was inaugurated and will improve road conditions, providing residents with better facilities and alleviating issues faced during the rainy season.

Funds from MLA allocation have been provided for the development of Lakshminagar Udyan in Ward No. 25. This initiative will offer residents a peaceful and clean space to enjoy quality time with their families.

Seematai is dedicated to resolving industrial challenges in the region, particularly focusing on easing traffic congestion in Satpur Ambad MIDC. With the support of Maharashtra’s Industries Minister, Uday Samant, this issue is set to be resolved, ensuring a more viable and prosperous environment for local businesses.


The construction of the Ekta Mitra Mandal Maidan wall, along with the installation of a green gym and children’s toys in Ward No. 26, has given local residents a safe place to play and exercise, promoting health and boosting children’s morale. Additionally, the inauguration of the road concreting work in Ashtavinayak Nagar will enhance transportation safety and convenience, improving traffic conditions in the area.


Mrs. Sunita Laxman Dater from Ambad Dater Mala, Nashik, has become a beneficiary of the Maharashtra and Central Government’s Child Care Scheme. This initiative supports children in families that have lost their primary breadwinner, especially during the challenging COVID period. Through this scheme, Mrs. Dater’s two children received financial assistance of ₹50,000 and ₹71,000, respectively.


The expansion of the Ambad Industrial Complex (MIDC) in the Nashik West assembly constituency will see 40 acres of land, valued at ₹24 crore, transferred to MIDC at no cost. This initiative is expected to attract new industries, boosting Nashik’s economy and generating an investment potential of around ₹1,000 crores.
