In the Ballarpur area, powerful blasting by Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) for coal mining has caused significant damage to many houses, leading to cracks and structural instability. Despite numerous complaints from villagers, WCL has not taken any measures to address the issue. Local MLA Subhash Dhote has instructed WCL officials to provide immediate assistance to the affected villagers and implement effective measures to prevent further damage. He has also met with senior WCL officials to ensure necessary help is provided promptly.

Contributions

The foundation stone for the Nimni-Hirapur-Chincholi road was laid by MLA Dhote. This road project, approved three years ago, was delayed due to a stay order by the BJP government, which was later lifted by the High Court. The project, funded with ₹3.5 crore, finally commenced after the court’s decision.
