Early Life and Education

Suresh Ambadasrao Warpudkar was born on April 20, 1951, in Varpud, Maharashtra. He pursued his education and graduated from a recognized institution, Warpudkar completed his BSc in Agriculture from Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth in 1972. With roots in an agriculturist family, Warpudkar has been closely associated with farming and social work from an early age.

Political Career

Suresh Warpudkar is a seasoned politician affiliated with the Indian National Congress (INC). He represents the Pathri constituency in Parbhani, Maharashtra.

  • He served as a Member of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Singnapur Assembly constituency from 1986 to 1998 (three terms).
  • He was also an MLA for Singnapur Assembly constituency from 2004 to 2009.
  • In 1998, he represented the Parbhani Lok Sabha constituency as a Member of Parliament.

Major Achievements

Warpudkar has been instrumental in implementing various development projects in his constituency. His efforts have significantly contributed to improving infrastructure, education, and healthcare facilities in Pathri. Promises and Future Commitments

Parbhani city, once home to the Nataraja Rangmandir theater, which helped launch actors like Makarand Anaspure and Sankarshan Karhade, now lacks a functioning theater. With a population of 4.6 lakh and a rich history of producing renowned artists, the MLA has requested an additional ₹11 crore for building a new theater in Parbhani through a legislative assembly discussion.

MLA Warpudkar highlighted the poor road conditions in Pathari Constituency, which, despite being 100% irrigated and hosting four sugar mills, suffers from deteriorated infrastructure. He requested approval for a 25.5 km road project from Injegaon to Sonpeth, citing numerous accidents on the current road. In response, Mr. Gadkari approved the 25 km road project and allocated ₹260 crore for its development.

MLA Suresh Warpudkar conducted the Bhoomipujan for a new cultural hall at Bhujang Baba Math. The project has been allocated ₹20 lakh from my local development fund.
