Renowned educator and motivational speaker Avadh Ojha officially joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday in Delhi, in the presence of party supremo Arvind Kejriwal and senior leader Manish Sisodia. Ojha, widely celebrated for his contributions to education and motivational speaking, expressed his enthusiasm for leveraging politics as a platform to advance educational reforms in India.

Ojha extended his gratitude to Kejriwal and Sisodia for the opportunity to join AAP, emphasizing his unwavering commitment to education. “Education is the medium that shapes the soul of the family, society, and the nation. All great nations and leaders worldwide have had education as a core foundation. Today, as I step into politics, I reaffirm my belief that if ever a choice arises between politics and education, I would unquestionably choose education. My political journey is driven by this mission to prioritize and develop education,” Ojha said.

Reports suggest that Ojha, previously speculated to contest elections on a BJP ticket, might now run as an AAP candidate in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. His alignment with AAP is seen as a significant boost for the party’s education-focused agenda.

Arvind Kejriwal warmly welcomed Ojha into the party, highlighting the alignment between AAP’s educational initiatives and Ojha’s vision. “His expertise will provide a new perspective to our education policies. Inspired by our work, he has joined the party, and we heartily welcome him into our family. Together, we will work to realize Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s dream of an educated and empowered society,” Kejriwal remarked.

Kejriwal further underlined the impact of Ojha’s decision, stating, “Whenever a leader joins AAP, we say they strengthen the party. With Avadh Ojha’s joining, it’s not just AAP but the entire field of education in this country that will be strengthened. Our work for education will only grow more impactful through his contributions.”

Ojha’s move signals a renewed focus on educational reform within AAP’s political framework as the party prepares for upcoming electoral challenges.
