Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday declared that his vow to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack had been fulfilled through Operation Sindoor, attributing its success to the blessings of Lord Shiva and the unity of the Indian people.
Addressing a massive public gathering in his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi, PM Modi said, “My heart was filled with sorrow for the 26 people who lost their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack.”
“My promise to avenge ‘Sindoor’ of our daughters was fulfilled with blessings of Mahadev,” he said.
“I dedicate the success of Operation Sindoor at the feet of Mahadev.”
The Prime Minister emphasized that the unity of 140 crore Indians had become the real strength behind Operation Sindoor.
“The unity of 140 crore countrymen became the strength of Operation Sindoor,” he said.
During his visit to Varanasi, Modi also inaugurated and laid the foundation for multiple development projects worth over ₹2,000 crore. Additionally, he launched the 20th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, distributing ₹20,500 crore to more than 9.70 crore eligible farmers across the nation.
