Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has announced an ambitious plan to revamp Delhi with projects worth ₹1 lakh crore in the next two years. Speaking at an event, Gadkari said, “I promise you that works worth ₹1 lakh crore will be done in the coming two years. It’ll change the face of entire Delhi.”
Highlighting efforts to clean the Yamuna under the Namami Gange scheme, Gadkari revealed that significant progress has been made to prevent sewage from entering the river. However, he pointed fingers at the Delhi government for not providing their share of funding, which has delayed some key projects.
“We have schemes to clean Yamuna, but as the Delhi government is not providing their share of money for the projects, some works are yet to be done,” Gadkari stated.
