Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ahead of Delhi Assembly elections, addressed a rally in Yamuna Khadar, Ghonda, where he expressed his condolences to the families affected by the tragic stampede during the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj.

In his speech, PM Modi said, “Before I begin addressing the election rally today, I would like to express my deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the painful accident at Mahakumbh. My sympathies are with the affected families, and I wish for the swift recovery of those injured.”

He added, “I am in constant touch with the Uttar Pradesh government. Though there was a brief disruption in the holy dip process due to the incident, I am happy to inform that everything has been running smoothly for several hours now.”
