Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday celebrated the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) decisive victory in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, describing it as a triumph of development and effective governance. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the prime minister expressed his gratitude to the people of Maharashtra, particularly women and youth, for their overwhelming support.
“Development wins! Good governance wins! United we will soar even higher!” Modi wrote, adding, “Heartfelt gratitude to my sisters and brothers of Maharashtra, especially the youth and women of the state, for a historic mandate to the NDA. This affection and warmth is unparalleled.”
The prime minister reaffirmed the NDA’s commitment to Maharashtra’s progress, emphasizing that the alliance would continue working tirelessly to fulfill the aspirations of the people. He also extended his thanks to voters for their support in both the Lok Sabha and Assembly bypolls across various states.
“NDA’s pro-people efforts resonate all over! I thank people across various states for blessing NDA candidates in the various by-polls held. We will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling their dreams and aspirations,” Modi stated on X.
Acknowledging the efforts of NDA workers, the prime minister commended their dedication in reaching out to the public to communicate the party’s agenda of good governance and development.
In addition to addressing the Maharashtra results, Modi extended congratulations to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led alliance for their performance in the Jharkhand Assembly elections. He also expressed gratitude to the people of Jharkhand for supporting the NDA, stating, “We will always be at the forefront of raising people’s issues and working for the state.”
The prime minister’s comments underscore the NDA’s momentum in key state elections and reinforce the alliance’s pledge to focus on development, governance, and public welfare.
