In a significant boost to employment opportunities, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed over 71,000 appointment letters to newly recruited candidates through video conferencing on Monday. Addressing the gathering, PM Modi remarked, “Today is a very pleasant occasion as a new chapter begins for thousands of youth across the country. Your dream of many years has come true, and your hard work has paid off.”
The initiative, part of the Rozgar Mela, underscores the government’s commitment to prioritizing employment generation. The event aims to provide meaningful opportunities for the youth, fostering their participation in nation-building and self-empowerment.
Nation-Wide Recruitment Drive
Rozgar Mela events were organized at 45 locations across India, with the new recruits joining various Ministries and Departments of the Central Government. These include the Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Posts, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and the Department of Financial Services, among others.
The Prime Minister emphasized the transformative potential of these opportunities, encouraging the youth to contribute to the nation’s progress. This initiative aligns with the government’s broader vision of empowering the younger generation while ensuring their active role in shaping India’s future.
This latest Rozgar Mela adds to the series of efforts made by the government to address unemployment and create avenues for sustainable livelihoods across the country.
