During his visit to Mumbai today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hold a pivotal meeting with MLAs of the BJP-led Mahayuti government. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced the meeting, emphasizing the importance of PM Modi’s support in the Mahayuti government’s success over the past two and a half years.
“PM Modi has continuously supported the Mahayuti government, which is why we have performed well and gained a huge majority in the state,” Shinde stated.
This first-of-its-kind session will see PM Modi addressing 230 MLAs from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena, and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) at the Vidhan Bhavan.

Apart from meeting the MLAs, PM Modi will preside over the commissioning of three advanced naval combatants—INS Surat, INS Nilgiri, and INS Vaghsheer—at the Naval Dockyard. These state-of-the-art warships mark a milestone in India’s defense manufacturing and maritime capabilities, aligning with the Aatma Nirbhar Bharat initiative.
