PM Modi’s 45-Hour Meditation On Vivekananda Rock Memorial: Beach Closed, No Tourists Allowed

Reports indicate that PM Modi will first travel to Thiruvananthapuram and then take an MI-17 helicopter to Kanyakumari, expected to land at 4:35 pm. After witnessing the sunset, he will begin his meditation. He is scheduled to depart from Kanyakumari on June 1 at 3:30 pm.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is gearing up for a 45-hour meditation session at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, starting Thursday after the conclusion of election campaigning. Security measures are being tightened, with around 2,000 police personnel and security agencies set to maintain vigilance during the meditation.

From the evening of May 30 to the evening of June 1, PM Modi will be in deep meditation at the memorial. The location holds significance as it is believed to be where Swami Vivekananda received his divine vision.

During this time, the beach will be off-limits to tourists for two days, and private boats will be restricted from ferrying, as reported by media sources. PM Modi will arrive at the memorial via helicopter, with a trial landing already conducted at the helipad.
