
Early Life and Education
Atul Vallabh Benke was born and raised in Junnar, Pune district, Maharashtra. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Civil Engineering from Pune University in 2005
Political Career
Atul Benke is a member of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Ajit Pawar faction. He was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Junnar constituency in the 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections. He has been actively involved in state politics and is known for his grassroots approach.
Major Achievements and Political Initiatives
MLA secured ₹1.12 crore for constructing 10 Anganwadis in Junnar taluka, enhancing early childhood care and development in the area.

Atul Benke hails from a family with roots in Maharashtra. His father’s name is Vallabh Dattatray Benke. Married with children, his spouse is a housewife, supporting their family life. His assets are valued at over ₹16 crores, with liabilities totaling approximately ₹4.16 crores, indicating his financial stability and involvement in various business ventures.

With the support of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and MLA Atulsheth Benke’s efforts, ₹3.75 crore has been approved for constructing 8 Sakav bridges in Junnar taluka.
With the support of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and MLA Atulsheth Benke, ₹2.5 crore has been approved for five road development projects in Junnar taluka.
With the support of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and efforts of MLA Atulsheth Benke, ₹21.47 crore has been sanctioned for 254 development projects in Junnar taluka. This includes civic facilities, rural roads, district roads, dam projects, new school classrooms, and Anganwadi buildings.
MLA has inaugurated various development projects funded by ₹81 lakh for Khamgaon Gram Panchayat. Completed works include the construction of Khandoba temple and Shiva’s Wadi assembly halls, installation of a 100 KV transformer, and the concreting of several roads and waiting sheds.
MLA has completed the Bhumi Pujan for ₹30 lakh worth of development projects in Basti. The funds will be used for the Mahalunge road, internal concreting in Basti, and a cemetery protection wall, with each project receiving ₹10 lakh.
