    Key Political Initiatives

BJP MLA Manisha Chaudhary has written to CM Eknath Shinde, opposing the use of Dahisar toll naka land for the Dharavi Redevelopment Project. She argued that the land is crucial for creating a transport hub to ease severe traffic congestion at Dahisar Check Naka. Local residents have long demanded that the land be used for parking heavy vehicles, such as buses. Chaudhary also raised concerns about rehabilitating around 4 lakh “ineligible” Dharavi residents in Dahisar, insisting they should be relocated within Dharavi itself. She voiced these issues in the legislative assembly during discussions on supplementary demands.

MLA Manisha Chaudhary has expressed her support for the public protest opposing the relocation of ineligible Dharavi residents to Dahisar. She stands with the local community, advocating against the proposed move, which has raised concerns among Dahisar residents.

    Contributions

In addition to her legislative work, Chaudhary is a prominent figure in her community for her philanthropic activities. She engages with grassroots organizations, assisting in education initiatives and providing support to the underprivileged sections of society. Her self-employed background gives her a unique understanding of the challenges small business owners face, and she often supports local businesses in her constituency.

    Promises and Future Commitments

Redevelopment projects in Dahisar, Mumbai, worth ₹7,000 to ₹10,000 crore, have been stalled due to height restrictions imposed by the Airport Authority of India (AAI) because of high-frequency radars. Over 10,000 households are affected, according to BJP MLA Manisha Chaudhary, who has submitted a representation to Union Aviation Minister TDP MP Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, requesting the relocation of AAI’s radar stations outside Dahisar. Chaudhary highlighted that old buildings from the 1980s and 1990s are deteriorating, making redevelopment essential. The restrictions have made tall buildings unviable for developers, leaving residents in unsafe conditions.

In Dahisar East, Mumbai, the Bhoomi Pujan of a new bridge connecting Sudhir Phadke Bridge to the Western Express Highway was conducted under the guidance of Union Minister Piyush Goyal and with the efforts of MLA Manisha Chaudhary. The project, costing ₹124 crore, aims to alleviate Dahisar’s traffic issues and is expected to be completed within two years. The ceremony was attended by BJP Mumbai President MLA Ashish Selar, former MP Gopal Shetty, and other officials. The bridge will provide significant relief to residents once completed.

In Dahisar Assembly Constituency, MLA Manisha Chaudhary announced the launch of the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme for senior citizens, initiated by the state government. The “Mukhyamantri Tirtha Darshan Yojana” allows citizens aged 65 and above to visit pilgrimage sites, fulfilling their religious aspirations. This scheme aims to benefit elderly residents in the constituency.

MLA Manisha Chaudhary instructed Mumbai Municipal Corporation officials to immediately close the dangerous bridge at Sainath Nagar in Ward No. 8 of her Dahisar constituency. Despite attempts by some to bypass the closure by planting bamboo, she directed authorities to weld the bridge gate shut for safety. Chaudhary also urged citizens to remain vigilant and cautious in the area.

In Dahisar Vidhan Sabha constituency, MLA Manisha Chaudhary inaugurated the Bhoomi Pujan for a new three-storey health center. This well-equipped facility will greatly benefit local residents by providing accessible medical services within Dahisar, eliminating the need for people to travel long distances for treatment.
