Early Life and Education
Namita Mundada was born on March 4, 1989, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She completed her Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture and Environmental Studies in 2012. She is a gold medalist and has received several awards and scholarships for her academic excellence.
Political Career
Namita Mundada entered politics in 2019 when she contested the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections from the Kaij constituency, which is reserved for the Scheduled Castes. She won the seat as a candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She is also the daughter-in-law of the late Dr. Vimal Mundada, a former minister and a prominent leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in the state.
