    Key Political Initiatives

In response to the Rajkot fort accident in Malvan taluka, a joint technical committee has been established to investigate the incident and oversee the construction of a new statue. The government is committed to preventing such incidents in the future and ensuring safety in similar projects.

    Controversy

The Sambhaji Brigade has demanded immediate legal action against Minister Ravindra Chavan following the collapse of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue. Accusing Chavan of negligence, the Brigade has urged the Chief Minister to file a criminal case against him. They emphasize the statue’s cultural significance and warn of statewide protests if their demands are not met, signaling potential unrest and growing public dissatisfaction with the handling of culturally significant projects.

Shiv Sena leader Ramdas Kadam labeled Maharashtra PWD Minister Ravindra Chavan as a “useless minister” due to the poor state of the Mumbai-Goa Highway. Kadam criticized Chavan for the incomplete roadwork and questioned the effectiveness of his review meetings. Despite being part of the Mahayuti alliance, Kadam suggested that Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis should demand Chavan’s resignation. Fadnavis, however, countered Kadam’s remarks, questioning whether they aligned with the principles of their alliance.
