Early Life and Education
Vinay Vilasrao Kore was born on October 4, 1971, in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. He is the grandson of Hon. Sahakarmahrishi Late Shri. Tatyasaheb Kore, who founded the Shree Warana Industrial & Educational Complex. Vinay Kore completed his education locally and has been actively involved in the development of Warananagar, shaping it into an engineering and agricultural town.
Political Career
Vinay Kore is the founder and president of the Jan Surajya Shakti party. He has been serving as an MLA from the Shahuwadi Assembly constituency since 2009. He has also served as the Minister for Non-Conventional Energy & Horticulture in the Government of Maharashtra. In the 2019 elections, Kore won by a margin of 27,863 votes against Shiv Sena’s Satyajeet Babasaheb Patil (Aba) Sarudkar.
