Yogesh Ramdas Kadam was born on October 29, 1986, in Dapoli, Ratnagiri district. He is the son of Shiv Sena leader Ramdas Kadam. Yogesh pursued his education in local schools and later completed his higher secondary education.

Yogesh Kadam is a member of the Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction). He has been serving as an MLA from the Dapoli Assembly constituency since 2019.
