Shihora’s political journey began with his tenure as President of the Morbi District Panchayat, where he focused on local governance and rural development. In 2024, he was elected as a Member of Parliament for the Surendranagar Lok Sabha constituency, representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He secured a significant victory over Rutvikbhai Makwana of the Indian National Congress by a margin of 261,617 votes.
