    The Bombay High Court issued summons to Thane MP Naresh Mhaske and 22 other candidates after Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Rajan Vichare filed a petition. Vichare’s lawyer argued that Mhaske’s election should be annulled for failing to disclose his rioting conviction in his nomination form, where he falsely stated he had no convictions. Mhaske won the 2019 election by a margin of over 2 lakh votes. (India Today)
