Early Life and Education

Shivraj Singh Chouhan was born on March 5, 1959, in Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh. He completed his schooling at the Government Higher Secondary School in Sehore and later pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Government Arts and Commerce College in Bhopal. His early education laid the foundation for his active involvement in student politics.

Political Career

Chouhan’s political journey began with his active participation in the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He was elected as the National Vice President of ABVP and later served as the National General Secretary. In 1990, he was elected to the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from the Budhni constituency, marking the start of his legislative career.
